Last weekend Dave took Carter deer hunting... ...and Carter got his first deer...

Thirty minutes later, he got another one...

He was thrilled.

They go with the Texas Youth Hunting Program. It is an awesome program. One of the other kids on the hunt shot this bobcat...

Evidently, that was pretty exciting as well.

And, last weekend, Lauren went to a Longhorns Basketball game with Grandpa for the first time.

She loved it...thanks Grandpa!

Which reminds me, today Lauren had her first basketball game...

And Carter sported his first (& hopefully last) sweat band...

Stop laughing. It's rude. :)

Would you believe me if I told you he wore it the entire game?

I tried to tell him that it looked kinda stupid, but he didn't believe me...that's not a first. ;)
