Easter

~Easter 2002~

Since we didn't have church due to General Conference, we didn't get all "fancied up" this year. It was very relaxing and rejuvenating. We went to my parents house for dinner. Did I mention that they bought a house here and moved in last week? Yay! They are officially "snow birds" and will live here during the winter/spring and in Wyoming the rest of the year. We are very excited.

Quest Project

Taylor has been working really hard on her Quest project for school. She did the pros and con's of hunting. Last week she had her presentation. For the "product" portion, she composed a song for the piano, recorded herself playing it, and then used it for the background music on her slide show of her ten hunting ethics. Scout Camp

Carter and Dave went to Scout Camp on Friday night. They had fun.

The best part for Carter was carrying around his own pocket knife. He was pleased as punch! :)

Still Painting

This past week, we've done lots and lots of this......and we're still not finished! :) I'm sick of painting. Although we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. We've hung crown molding in 3 rooms and painted 4 rooms, the staircase and upstairs hallway. We are moving Taylor and Lauren into different bedrooms as well; so, it's pretty much a mess around here. We only have one more room to paint and then comes the fun stuff...decorating! :) I'll post pictures when we're finished...if we ever finish, that is! :)

Laundry

I do not enjoy doing laundry. I enjoy putting it away even less...

Turkey Hunt

Last weekend, Dave and Taylor went on their first turkey hunt. On the deer hunts, they sat in a blind whereas on this hunt they were in complete camo and used a turkey call to lure them in. They didn't end up getting a turkey but had a great time...

Taylor is trying to talk me into going next time. :)

Tickled

Last night, out of the blue, Carter said, "I love playing the piano. It's fun when you finally get good." He then went and played a song for me which had been "really hard the week before but now was easy." It tickled me.
